About the Director
Gabri Blankson is a 15-year-old rising sophomore from Dallas, Texas. She created Mime, her debut film, as part of the Black Girls Film Camp to shine a light on how many teens struggled in silence during the pandemic. She hopes Mime encourages other teens to talk about their emotions and explore filmmaking as a form of expression.
